We sincerely want to THANK Mark Salisbury, CGCS at Starr Pass for all of his hard work, organization and energy, plus all of his staff who provided us with a Great golf course, wonderful tournament conditions and terrific support. We really appreciated everything!!!

Brett Gilmore, Starr Pass Tournament Director was flawless once again and had EVERYTHING ready for us when we arrived to make our Employee South Challenge a true success and fun event!

Mark also has to be congratulated for having his golf course become the first Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary golf course in Tucson! Way to go Mark!!!!!
 
Cactus & Pine would also like to thank all of the golf course superintendents that sent your staff to participate in these challenges. I'm sure that your thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed!!! (At least I hope Not!)

Alan Pribble Golf Outing Fundraiser on 8/30/08

    Help raise funds for Alan Pribble, Superintendent of the Wigwam Golf Course and son of Sun City teaching pro Dale Pribble.  Alan was involved in a very bad car accident that has left him with needs such as a wheelchair ramp at his home. The funds from this outing will go towards these needs.

Congratulations to Jesus 'Chuy' Lara with the Palo Verde GC for winning the Cactus and Pine Custom Chopper raffle this past weekend. Ticket #3527 proved to be the lucky draw for the custom motorcycle valued at over $50,000.

The Cactus and Pine would like to thank all those who purchased a ticket and afforded our organization an opportunity to make a donation to benefit The First Tee of Phoenix.
